Paint Your Chosen Painting
A flexible, oil painting–based course
Paint Your Own Project is a personalized, project-based oil painting course designed for artists who want to develop a single painting from start to finish at a pace that suits their work. Each participant chooses their own subject and works through the full oil painting process with guidance and support available throughout.
Enrollment is structured on a monthly basis, allowing artists to commit to a set of sessions and continue working consistently on their painting. If additional time is needed, participants may add another set of four sessions as required.
The number of sessions depends on the scale, complexity, and drying time of the chosen work. This flexible structure allows space for thoughtful planning, layering, refinement, and corrections.
Throughout the course, guidance is available to support:
-
Planning and composition
-
Drawing and underpainting
-
Oil color mixing and material choices
-
Layering, corrections, and refinement
-
Bringing a painting to a resolved finish
Artists are welcome to work with special or preferred oil pigments specific to their project.
This course is ideal for artists seeking continuity, flexibility, and focused support while developing a complete oil painting in a calm, studio-based environment.
